Artist Statement
            These works are a medley of thoughts, dreams, memories and stories heard. Collectively they are not about anything in particular; the paintings weren’t made with any specific goal in mind. Yet like all art when made public it is free to intersect with the viewer as chance will allow it. My thoughts are often filled with the residue of memories, dreams, conversations and random thoughts. This randomness is authentic. It resembles poetry, and is our collective discourse. Like poetry, my paintings can exist on their own without detailed explanation. My waking life isn’t so different from my dreams, and it demands that I perceive it using my imagination.
